Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Danfoss. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving front-line sales growth, primarily with new and strategically important customers and prospects within the Industry vertical.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth in the Industry vertical.
  • Represent Danfoss Drives within the Industry vertical, following and influencing short-term or long-term trends, leading product & solution offering and strategy.
  • Coach, guide, and support sales teams to find new growth opportunities.
  • Secure Danfoss visibility by educating/training the markets and connecting in industry trade associations, exhibitions, publishing white papers, material, marketing activities.
  • Build and share application knowledge, and best practices within the organization.
  • Develop and deliver solutions with Project Teams and influence communication with marketing resources tailored to the market needs/trends and Danfoss strategic priorities.
  • Ensure bi-directional information flow between the market, sales team, and global teams when necessary.
  • Study the industry vertical in order to identify the right approach, following development and future of customer need, market trends, competition strategy and activities.
  • Drive the push and pull strategy in close cooperation with sales team, in the industry vertical.
  • Report activities and data analysis related to the selling and Market Intelligence.
  • Use Danfoss's tools and relationship with the internal stakeholders as Sales Engineer, Marketing and Technical Support, with the select and purpose the most competitive Danfoss Solution.
  • Support the sales strategies within the achievements of budget.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent culture – knowledge in drives, electric motors and automation is a plus.
  • +5 years of experience gained in middle structured Multinational companies, in similar role within the knowledge of the reference market.
  • Negotiation and organizational skills with strong goal orientation.
  • Strong knowledge of English Language (written and spoken).
  • Skilled in presenting to large audiences.
  • Customer and growth-oriented mindset and strong analytical ability.
  • Interpersonal skills with a result-oriented mindset, focused on teamwork.
  • Global mindset and excellent oral and written communication skills to efficiently communicate across all levels of the organization.
