Purpose of the Job

The Account Director is responsible for driving the development and growth of key client accounts across multiple markets. This role requires strong leadership and strategic management skills to strengthen relationships with clients and identify opportunities for business growth.

Main Responsibilities

  • Play a leading role in delivering client satisfaction through effective client liaison, resource management, and supplier management.
  • Manage the on and off-site account teams to ensure compliance with company operating procedures.
  • Develop and manage client development plans, including growth strategies and risk analysis.
  • Manage financial performance, risk analysis, and remediation.
  • Build strong relationships with senior key decision-makers and present account planning and strategy for retention, growth, and added value.

Requirements

  • Extensive client service management experience, ideally with time spent working on the client site or sites.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to develop positive relationships at all levels, up to Board level.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with clarity of expression.
  • Proven track record of operational management for client services departments.
  • Significant experience in developing and maintaining client relationships.
