About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior UX Designer to join our design team at Ion. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to deliver market-leading products that prioritize usability and user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pursue user-centered design principles to develop innovative solutions for complex business problems
  • Conduct research to understand customer needs, goals, and pain points, and create design concepts that meet those needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and inform product decisions
  • Create user journeys, sketches, wireframes, and interactive prototypes to communicate design ideas
  • Communicate research findings and design rationale to stakeholders
  • Partner with Engineers to ensure seamless implementation of designs
  • Contribute to establishing a collaborative and inclusive team culture
  • Develop and maintain our design system

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise in User-Centered Design (UCD) and user research methodologies
  • 5+ years of experience in UX design, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers
  • Proficiency in design tools like Figma and Sketch
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
