Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Buyer to join our team in Lainate, Italy.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Negotiate pricing lists and define Stocking Agreement and framework contracts.
  • Collaborate with external suppliers and internal departments to consolidate effective synergy.
  • Maintain a database of approved suppliers and qualify new ones following a thorough scouting activity.
  • Monitor, measure, and analyze corporate consumption.
  • Determine and track KPIs.
  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Create and update reports for management.
  • Support the Purchasing Manager in coordinating the local team.
  • Be responsible for data entry and integrity in the company's procurement system (e.g., agreements with suppliers, material registrations, purchase orders, order confirmations).

  • Excellent written and spoken English skills; German is a plus.
  • Problem-solving skills and strategic thinking.
  • Professional use of MS Office and SAP tools.
  • Flexibility in balancing different business objectives.
  • Good planning and organizational skills.
