Join Our Team as a Manufacturing Process Improvement Trainee

This is an exciting opportunity to build up your expertise and develop your professional skills in an innovative environment.

You will be part of the Operations Department and will collaborate on a project related to the internal testing process of converting lines. In particular, the project aims to introduce standard statistical tools for measuring data related to the internal testing of machinery.

  • You will learn the general principles of converting lines, the internal testing process as well as the processes and logic of the production areas
  • You will analyze and map the current internal testing protocol, including current documentation and reporting
  • You will interface with several colleagues from the Production and Operations areas, such as the testing team, the technical office, standardization, project management and digital team
  • You will identify and analyze product quality data as well as machine and component performance to define important test analysis indicators
  • You will draft documentation and reporting for internal or customer use
  • You will learn and apply Lean Six Sigma techniques and work management tools (such as SAP, minitab, etc.)
  • You will have the opportunity to experience an innovative manufacturing environment, deal with different roles and learn how a multinational company works
  • Recent graduate or master's student in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Automation, Electronics, Management or similar
  • Technical knowledge of mechanics of reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Solid knowledge and interest in statistics
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel
  • Fluency in Italian, both written and spoken, is mandatory
  • English proficiency
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Critical thinking
