About the Role
The Process Engineering department plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the production processes within the organization. The Process Engineer collaborates closely with various departments, including Production, Logistics, QHSE, and R&D, to enhance operational performance and implement optimal manufacturing processes that align with client requirements, budgetary constraints, product quality standards, and safety regulations.
This position involves overseeing all aspects of industrialization, including the development of new prototypes, design modifications, and the exploration of alternative materials in partnership with the R&D team. The Process Engineer is tasked with monitoring key performance indicators related to industrialization and proposing actionable strategies to positively influence site outcomes. Furthermore, this role includes supporting the formulation of the industrial investment strategy and ensuring the successful execution of installations while proactively driving improvements in production methodologies.
The scope of this role encompasses the entire production facility, which consists of multiple production departments, a testing department, and a logistics department, all operated by a skilled workforce across various shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Standardization and integration of manufacturing processes
- Development and implementation of process improvement plans
- Analysis and oversight of industrial investments
- Engagement in innovation initiatives, including prototype development and design alterations, in collaboration with R&D
- Management of special projects, including industry 4.0 and digital transformation efforts
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Production, Industrial, Mechanical, Materials Engineering, or a related field
- Strong focus on continuous improvement and project management
- Ability to apply both analytical and practical problem-solving approaches
- Proficient in collaborating with diverse stakeholders, including external suppliers
- Fluent in both Italian and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Technical knowledge of machinery and operational tools is advantageous
