The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Broadcast Systems Engineer to join our Broadcasting Engineering team in Brugherio, Italy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support for our broadcasting systems in the Live Production environment, Distribution to Linear and Streamed platforms, as well as Web Streams and Social.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for broadcasting systems, including equipment specifications, system design, and installation.
  • Accountable for project work, including research, installation, and configuration.
  • Evaluate and test all broadcasting equipment and systems.
  • Create and review standards and operating procedures for broadcasting infrastructure.
  • Subject matter expert for broadcasting disaster recovery planning, implementation, and execution.
  • Manage support incidents for all broadcasting systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or relevant working experience.
  • Minimum of two years of recent and directly related Broadcast Engineering experience in a television broadcast environment.
  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting broadcast equipment and systems.
  • Experience working with Broadcast Cameras, Video Switchers, Audio, and Data.
  • Knowledge of Video over IP and basic Network skills.
  • Ability to explain technical issues clearly and patiently to all levels of users.
  • Fluent Italian and good English.
