Our Mission

We are a producer of renewable photovoltaic energy on an international scale for over 15 years. Our mission is to develop, build and operate photovoltaic power plants in close collaboration with local stakeholders. We currently operate more than 1 Gw worldwide and expect to grow more than 10-fold by 2030.

Role in the REDEN Project

As an Energy Storage Project Development Manager, you will report to the Head of Energy Storage and your main mission will be to develop utility-scale battery storage projects (BESS), both hybridized and standalone BESS until Ready-to-Build milestone.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • To develop utility-scale battery storage projects until Ready-to-Build milestone including the management of the collaboration with external development entities.
  • To ensure follow-up of the stakeholders of the project like grid operators, local authorities, landowners and the wider public as part of the project development process.
  • To conduct high-level site analysis and support in the due diligence processes of projects and to actively participate in projects portfolio acquisition.
  • To follow-up regularly the regulatory changes and market reforms concerning battery storage in Italy.
  • To cultivate the interface with external partners, REDEN Italy and REDEN Group support functions.
  • To own and prepare all relevant documents within REDEN group and external stakeholders.

This position requires national and international business trips.

Profile
  • Educational Background: You hold a Master's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Urban Planning, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: You have a minimum of 5 years' experience in developing renewable energy projects or at least 2 years specifically in BESS project development in Italy, with a focus on permitting and grid applications.
  • Regulatory Expertise: You're well-versed in local development processes, regulations, and call-for-tender mechanisms, with solid knowledge of grid connection permitting.
  • Energy Markets Insight: Experience in energy markets and BESS revenue streams would be a major advantage.
  • Technical Proficiency: You are highly skilled with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint), and have experience with software like Google Earth, QGIS, or equivalent GIS software.
  • Language Skills: You are fluent in both Italian and English.
