For impactful and strategic initiatives, we are seeking Senior Data Scientist Consultants to become part of our Advanced Data and Analytics division.



Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing and modeling structured datasets utilizing advanced statistical techniques and implementing necessary algorithms and software for analysis
  • Developing recommendation systems, spam detection algorithms, sentiment analysis tools, and classifiers for both unstructured and semi-structured data
  • Clustering extensive amounts of user-generated content and processing data in large-scale environments using technologies like Hadoop and Spark
  • Executing machine learning, natural language processing, and statistical analysis methods, including classification, collaborative filtering, association rules, sentiment analysis, topic modeling, time series analysis, regression, statistical inference, and validation techniques
  • Leading client engagements centered on Big Data and Advanced Business Analytics across various domains such as product innovation, market research, public policy, optimization, and risk management; effectively communicating findings and educating stakeholders through reports and presentations
  • Conducting exploratory data analyses, generating and testing hypotheses, preparing and analyzing historical data, and identifying trends
To be a successful candidate, you will possess:

  • A Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Bioinformatics, Physics, Operations Research, or related disciplines
  • Demonstrated experience as a Data Scientist, with participation in Advanced Data Analysis projects
  • Proficiency in command-line scripting, data structures, and algorithms, with experience in processing large datasets in a cloud environment
  • Familiarity with data extraction and processing techniques, preferably using MapReduce, Pig, and/or Hive
  • Knowledge of programming languages (Java, Python, SCALA, Ruby) along with the capability to implement, maintain, and troubleshoot big data infrastructure, including distributed processing paradigms, stream processing, and databases such as Hadoop, Storm, SQL, and Solr
  • Strong expertise in at least one of the following areas: machine learning, statistical modeling, data mining, or cognitive computing
  • Proficiency in analytics and Data Science tools (R, SAS, Python, Knime, Spark, Matlab) and associated packages
  • Fluency in English, ideally enhanced through educational or professional experiences abroad
  • A willingness to collaborate closely with clients based on project requirements.
