Job Title: Communication Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Communication Specialist to join our team at FAO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, edit, and fact-check documents, publications, articles, and newsletters in English, ensuring compliance with FAO standards.
  • Develop and implement communication and outreach work on forestry and mountains with key partners, utilizing multiple communication and social media channels.
  • Manage and support global events and knowledge exchanges, collaborating with relevant partners.
  • Provide support for creating e-newsletters, email announcements, and other outreach products.
  • Manage and maintain thematic, regional, and country social media channels, adhering to FAO social media guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in communication, journalism, or a related field, or Bachelor's degree with a minimum of two years of experience.
  • One year or more of relevant experience in knowledge management and/or communication.
  • Working knowledge of English.
