About the Job

The Estimating Pipeline Engineer is a key role in our engineering team, responsible for developing and preparing cost estimates for pipeline projects. This involves analyzing project requirements, developing cost models, and providing technical support to project teams during the bidding process and/or design phase.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop cost estimates for pipeline projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and other expenses.
  • Analyze project requirements and specifications to determine the scope of work and project risks.
  • Develop cost models and perform cost analysis.
  • Provide technical support to project teams during the bidding process, including reviewing bid documents, preparing bid packages, and responding to bid inquiries.
  • Provide technical support to project teams during the design phase, including bill of materials preparation, request for quotation preparation, and schedule.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that estimates are accurate and comprehensive.
  • Prepare and present cost estimates to management and clients, including detailed breakdowns of costs and assumptions.
  • Collect feedback from site, analyzing construction contracts and costs.

About You

We're looking for a talented individual with a strong background in engineering principles and a passion for cost estimation. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil, Building, Environmental, Mechanical, Management Engineering, or Architecture, and excellent communication skills.
