If you share our commitment to advancing a low-carbon future, this position may be ideal for you. We are currently seeking a Junior Estimating Pipeline Engineer, who will report directly to the Department Head at our Fano Office, to join our engineering team based in Italy.

About the Role

The Junior Estimating Pipeline Engineer will be tasked with developing and preparing cost estimates for pipeline projects. This role requires analyzing project specifications, creating cost models, and providing technical assistance to project teams during both the bidding and design phases. The Junior Estimating Pipeline Engineer will collaborate closely with project managers, proposal managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all estimates are precise and thorough.

Key Responsibilities:


• Generate cost estimates for pipeline projects, encompassing materials, labor, equipment, and other associated costs.


• Assess project specifications and requirements to define the scope of work and identify potential risks.


• Create cost models and conduct cost analyses.


• Offer technical support to project teams during the bidding process, including reviewing bid documents, preparing bid packages, and addressing bid inquiries.


• Provide technical assistance during the design phase, including preparation of bills of materials and requests for quotations.


• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy and comprehensiveness of estimates.


• Prepare and present detailed cost estimates to management and clients, including comprehensive breakdowns of costs and underlying assumptions.


• Gather feedback from site activities, analyzing construction contracts and associated costs.

Availability for travel for meetings and site surveys in Italy is required, averaging a few days each month.

About You

We would be pleased to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential criteria:

Experience: No prior experience is necessary.

Qualifications: Understanding of fundamental engineering principles.

Degree with high marks in Civil, Building, Environmental, Mechanical, Management Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

Languages: Native Italian speaker, proficiency in English.

Main Skills: Teamwork, enthusiasm, proactivity, and curiosity in tackling new challenges.
