Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Junior Pipeline Estimation Engineer to join our engineering team. This role is pivotal in developing and preparing cost estimates for pipeline projects, ensuring accuracy and comprehensiveness in all estimates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed cost estimates for pipeline projects, encompassing materials, labor, equipment, and other related expenses.
  • Analyze project specifications to define the scope of work and identify potential project risks.
  • Create cost models and conduct thorough cost analyses.
  • Provide technical assistance to project teams during the bidding phase, including reviewing bid documents and preparing bid packages.
  • Support project teams during the design phase by preparing bills of materials and requests for quotations.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure estimates are precise and comprehensive.
  • Prepare and present cost estimates to management and clients, including detailed breakdowns of costs and underlying assumptions.
  • Gather feedback from site evaluations and analyze construction contracts and costs.

Travel Requirements:

Occasional travel for meetings and site surveys within the country may be required.

Candidate Profile:

We welcome applications from candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • No prior experience is necessary.
  • Knowledge of fundamental engineering principles.
  • A degree in Civil, Building, Environmental, Mechanical, Management Engineering, Architecture, or a related field with top marks.
  • Fluency in Italian and proficiency in English.
  • Strong teamwork skills, enthusiasm, proactivity, and a curiosity for tackling new challenges.
