About the Job

The Estimating Pipeline Engineer is responsible for developing and preparing cost estimates for pipeline projects. This role involves analyzing project requirements, developing cost models, and providing technical support to project teams during the bidding process and/or design phase.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop cost estimates for pipeline projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and other expenses.
  • Analyze project requirements and specifications to determine the scope of work and project risks.
  • Develop cost models and perform cost analysis.
  • Provide technical support to project teams during the bidding process, including reviewing bid documents, preparing bid packages, and responding to bid inquiries.
  • Provide technical support to project teams during the design phase, including bill of materials preparation, request for quotation preparation, and schedule.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that estimates are accurate and comprehensive.
  • Prepare and present cost estimates to management and clients, including detailed breakdowns of costs and assumptions.
  • Collect feedback from site, analyzing construction contracts and costs.

Availability to travel for meetings and site surveys in Italy, few days every month on average.

About You

We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a degree in Civil, Building, Environmental, Mechanical, Management Engineering, Architecture, or similar. Knowledge of main engineering principles is essential. Italian mother tongue and English language skills are required. Teamwork, enthusiasm, and proactivity are key skills for this role.
