Job DescriptionWe're looking for a talented Restaurant General Manager Assistant to join our team in Florence. As a key member of our restaurant team, you'll be responsible for supporting the Restaurant General Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our new hotel.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Restaurant General Manager in overseeing the restaurant's operations, including staff management, inventory control, and customer service.
- Work closely with the Restaurant General Manager to create and implement initiatives to drive revenue and improve customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with the Restaurant Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and maintain accurate financial and administrative records.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.
- Ensure excellent customer service and resolve any customer complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Perform regular inspections of the restaurant and bar areas to ensure they are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Manage labor schedules and budgets to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Drive standards throughout the team through implementation of trainings, coaching, feedback, and briefings for all team members.
- 2+ years' experience in a similar restaurant management role in a busy, bustling environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a calm and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
