Metrology Laboratory Technician

The accuracy of measurements performed by Marposs products relies heavily on the measurement of reference samples. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our LAT-accredited Metrology Laboratory Manager to perform coordinate measurements using high-precision instrumentation and evaluate the results.

Requirements
  • A high school degree in mechanics or equivalent
  • Excellent knowledge of technical drawing in the field of GPS (ISO) and GD&T (ASME Y14.5M)
  • Curiosity, passion, and desire to learn, as well as aptitude for using complex information technology tools
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a confined environment with extended hours when required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Leitz machines (Quindos software)
  • Knowledge of Taylor Hobson roundness and roughness gauges, elements of CREO, and Autocad
  • Previous experience in gear measurement or construction
