Job Overview:

Ferrero, a family-owned company with a global presence, is seeking a talented Food Safety & Quality Chemistry Laboratory Specialist to join its Food Safety & Quality Department. This role will be part of the Group FSQ Analytical Excellence Team, responsible for laboratory analysis and project management.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform laboratory analysis on samples, including raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished products, in a timely manner and adhering to methods, procedures, and good laboratory practices.
  • Oversee project management aspects, ensuring timely delivery of results, maintaining data integrity, and coordinating across departments.
  • Develop and validate analytical methods, prepare for annual inspections and audits, and maintain data management.
  • Contribute to the effective management of laboratories, including reagent stock management, calibration of tools, and application of accident prevention regulations.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's Degree or PhD in Food Chemistry, Chemistry, or a similar field, with experience in a laboratory environment in the food industry. Strong organizational skills, hands-on experience with GC equipment, and fluency in Italian and English are essential. Familiarity with SAP and laboratory software is a plus.
