Job Overview:

Ferrero is a leading global confectionery company with a rich history and a strong commitment to quality and safety. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Food Safety Specialist to join our team in Alba, Italy.

Main Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory analysis on samples, ensuring timely delivery of results, and maintaining data integrity. Key responsibilities include:

  • Sample preparation and analysis execution
  • Quality checks and maintenance of laboratory equipment
  • Development and validation of analytical methods
  • Preparation for annual inspections and audits

The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree or PhD in Food Chemistry or a related field, with experience in a laboratory environment and a strong focus on Gas Chromatography (GC) for contaminant analysis.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication and relationship skills, and fluency in both Italian and English. Familiarity with SAP and laboratory software is a plus.
