Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Management and Program Analyst to join our team at the Department of the Navy. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing budget and resource allocation to ensure the effective execution of our programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of budget data and resource allocation to identify areas for improvement and optimize resource utilization.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address resource gaps and develop solutions to optimize resource allocation.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to senior leadership on budget and resource allocation matters.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models and reports to support budget and resource allocation decisions.
Requirements
  • At least one year of specialized experience in budget and resource analysis, financial management, or a related field.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop strategic recommendations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, including budgeting and financial reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification in budgeting and financial management, such as the Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) designation.
  • Experience working in a government or military environment, with a strong understanding of budget and resource allocation processes.
