We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Counsel to join our legal team at Docplanner.
About the Role:The Product Counsel will provide legal support across a range of health-tech products, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide proactive legal advice on a variety of issues related to product development and deployment, including regulatory compliance, data protection regulations, and health regulations.
- Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of legal support for product launches and updates.
- Support the Privacy Counsels to draft Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for new product launches or features.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and provide effective legal solutions.
- Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk, and work with the Senior Product Counsel to develop corrective action plans.
- 1-3 years working in a similar role in the tech sector.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, data protection (especially GDPR), and health regulations, with the ability to provide proactive legal advice.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of legal support for product launches and updates.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and operations.
- Ability to identify compliance vulnerabilities and risks, and collaborate on developing corrective action plans.
