To bolster the teams driving this ecosystem, we have established a global Corporate division that includes departments such as Legal, Finance, Marketing and Sales, Strategy, Human Resources, Central Services, and PR and Communications.

Our Corporate division is currently in search of a skilled Junior Cost Accountant to join the Luxury Cost Accountant Team within the broader Finance & Accounting Department.

Reporting to: Luxury Cost Accountant Supervisor

Contract Type: Maternity Cover

Workplace Type: Hybrid

Role Overview: The selected candidate will support the Cost Accountant team in managing warehouse accounting, particularly concerning the Documental flow in the Accounting System (Navision). Responsibilities will include managing Supplier invoices and Credit Memos, overseeing the 3w-m process, Payment Authorization, Vendor Master Data Creation, RTV, and evaluating stock through warehouse accounting loads. The Junior Cost Accountant will also assist the Luxury Cost Accountant Supervisor in liaising with other departments, especially Operations, Buying & Merchandising, and will maintain close contact with suppliers while managing both internal and external reporting. The candidate will contribute to the monthly closing activities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring and verifying the progress of Digital Production.
  • Cross-referencing accounts and accounting documents.
  • Identifying and resolving issues related to administrative and operational flows.
  • Managing periodic physical and fiscal warehouse inventories.
  • Supporting the management of inbound administrative activities (3w-m) in alignment with physical and operational inbound processes.
  • Attributing purchase costs for products entering the warehouse across all buying types.
  • Recording warehouse transactions for accounting purposes, pertaining to both purchased and consignment goods.
  • Assisting in periodic and/or ad hoc internal reporting and managing consignment reporting.
  • Identifying process and/or system measures to enhance data flow and reliability.
  • Supporting warehouse activities and evaluations during the closing process.
  • Collaborating with various company areas involved in warehouse processes.
  • Verifying the operational phase of goods in progress and backlog reporting.
  • Managing relationships with key Luxury Partners.
  • Overseeing internal and external reporting.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Diploma in Accounting or a University degree in Economics.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles.
  • Reliability, accuracy, flexibility, and discretion.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.
  • Motivation for an administrative role.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Navision and SQL is a plus.
