Job Title: Molecular Biology Intern

GSK is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Molecular Biology Intern to join our team. As a Molecular Biology Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects, including the design of scientific research experiments, data collection and interpretation, and implementation of scientific experiments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the design of scientific research experiments under the guidance of a scientific tutor
  • Work closely with scientific staff to implement scientific experiments, collect and interpret data
  • Utilize scientific knowledge and experience to influence technical decisions
  • Implement highest ethical standards, good scientific practices, and data integrity in daily scientific activities
  • Participate in writing internal and external reports and scientific documents in support of projects
  • Communicate effectively with manager, senior scientific staff, and members from other functions to ensure project progression

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Biology or Biotechnology or similar field
  • Basic Qualifications: Laboratory experience, knowledge of bacterial and cell lines manipulation, bacterial microbiology, molecular and cellular biology, and basic immunological techniques
  • Preferred Qualifications: Microscopy experience and/or other imaging technologies
  • Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in English
