Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the welcoming face of Sonder, collaborating with colleagues to create a positive first impression for guests and partners.
  • Guide guests through the technology-driven Sonder experience, helping them make the most of their stay through our app and self-service options.
  • Engage with guests both in-person and through digital platforms to identify and fulfill their needs for a seamless and enjoyable stay.
  • Provide exceptional service and professionalism during guest interactions, promptly addressing issues and accommodating requests whenever possible.
  • Oversee front desk operations, prioritize tasks, and serve as a point of contact for escalated guest concerns in the absence of a manager.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization in guest and staff areas, fostering a welcoming and efficient atmosphere.
  • Assist with back-of-house responsibilities as needed, including quality checks, inventory management, and minor maintenance tasks.
  • Support administrative functions to ensure smooth operations and enhance the overall guest experience.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or related fields; familiarity with communication tools such as Salesforce is a plus.
  • Friendly, service-oriented, and enthusiastic about engaging with guests in both face-to-face and digital settings.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing guest needs.
  • Technologically savvy with excellent written communication skills, comfortable navigating various applications.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and hardworking, thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Able to stand for extended periods and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Proficiency in additional languages, particularly Italian, is advantageous.
  • Regular access to a reliable smartphone for work-related tasks is essential (reimbursement provided).
