Main Responsibilities

  • Manage the project to achieve targets, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
  • Ensure correct management of the project, ensuring predefined results on time and within budget.
  • Act as the unique interface towards the client.
  • Ensure full compliance with safety requirements and implementation of the safety plan.
  • Define and develop the customer relationship strategy.
  • Identify all project stakeholders and manage expectations.
  • Accountable for project profitability, sales, and costs.
  • Plan and coordinate activities and resources for project objectives.
  • Manage customer satisfaction and pursue continuous improvement.
  • Manage contractual terms of the project.
  • Organize and plan the project with appropriate management tools.
  • Supervise and control production/product integration of project-related systems.
  • Monitor project progress in reference to the planned timetable.
  • Monthly monitor project profit and implement necessary action plans.
  • Supervise and coordinate validation and verification of the system.
  • Support preparation and validation of the project statement of work.
  • Establish project structure and project management organization.
  • Set up the project team and assign roles and responsibilities.
  • Manage assigned PMs leading parts of the projects.
  • Establish internal targets in line with contract requirements.
  • Implement the project management plan (PMP).
  • Manage project risks including contingency plans.
  • Ensure correct application of quality and HSE procedures.
  • Define project key progress and performance indicators.
  • Manage activities related to variation to contractual scope of work.
  • Coordinate all project activities.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate key-values and regulations.
  • Represent the company in front of the customer.
  • Focus on anticipation, especially in risks and opportunities management.
  • Close-out the project.

Prerequisites and Skills

  • University degree in engineering (electronic, telecommunication, or informatics) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience of at least 10 years as PM or GPM.
  • Experience of at least 5 years in projects relevant to communication and control systems.
  • Good technical background in relevant systems used in the metro or railways environment.
  • Optimal knowledge of the English language for international contexts.
  • Willingness to be located abroad for medium/long term periods (> 3 years).
  • Availability for business missions worldwide.
  • Strong competencies in organization and coordination of remote teams.
  • Autonomy, proactivity, and commitment.
  • Oriented to business and able to manage customer needs.
  • Strong motivation to work for targets.
  • High seniority and experience in managing complex projects.
  • Proven competencies in managing various customers and stakeholders.
