Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Customs Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Davide Campari Milano N.V. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the customs authorities, AEO authorization, and import/export operations of finished goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the opening and renewal of customs authorities.
  • Manage and maintain AEO authorization and follow up on related audits and reviews by the customs agency.
  • Manage and monitor the proper operation of import and export operations of finished goods.
  • Manage and monitor the proper operations carried out by operators in bonded warehouses.
  • Manage special rules and bank guarantees in collaboration with treasury.
  • Manage the classification of goods and deal with the request/predisposition of certificates of origin.
  • Care about the relative affiliations of inspections carried out by customs officials in production units and at headquarters.
  • Carry out training activities with colleagues of the headquarters and plants in relation to regulations in force.
  • Maintain contacts with external offices such as customs, ministries, and associations.
  • Coordinate customs specialists by giving them all necessary support for training and professional growth.
Key Relationships
  • Internal: Group Tax Director, Group Tax & Transfer Pricing Coordinator, Tax Manager, Plant Director, Plant Excise & Customs Coordinator, Excise Specialist, Logistics Manager.
  • External: Customs offices.
Requirements
  • Experience in consumer goods industries is a must, preferably within the spirits category.
  • Experience in managing teams with functional reporting lines.
Education and Professional Qualifications
  • Customs management and knowledge of customs law.
  • Knowledge of business processes and risks concerning handling of finished products and raw materials subject to customs.
