About the Role

The Logistics Department at BYD Europe is responsible for the efficient management of vehicle imports and distribution within European countries. As a Logistics Specialist - Vehicle Logistics, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and services, collaborating with various departments, logistics colleagues, and external partners to achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communication and Collaboration: Establish effective communication with company departments, logistics colleagues, and external partners to ensure seamless coordination and problem-solving.
  • Operations and Systems Management: Manage and optimize operations within various systems, including CRM, ERP, and SAP, to control the movement of cargo and finance.
  • Information Management: Organize and provide real-time information on POs and deliveries, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the logistics flow, reducing costs and increasing efficiency.
  • Cost Control and Optimization: Monitor and control logistics costs, providing the most efficient logistics solutions to meet business needs.
Job Requirements
  • Experience and Education: Preferably up to 3 years of automotive-related working experience or a graduate of a related study field, with a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Data Analysis, or Business Management.
  • Language Skills: Excellent Italian and English language skills, with Chinese or any other European language considered an advantage.
  • Skills and Abilities: Proficient Excel user skills, stress-resilient with a problem-solving mindset, and a team player with attention to detail.
