The Air Logistics Operations Specialist plays a crucial role within the Air Logistics Function at Kuehne + Nagel. This position is responsible for providing operational care and support to ensure the smooth execution of air freight services.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Operational Care Center in achieving operational excellence through high-quality shipment and process management.
- Execute export/import services with the highest level of quality, collaborating with suppliers, handling agents, and carriers.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to optimize proceedings and enhance operational capabilities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Customer Care Location, Systems and Process, Revenue Care, Warehouse, and National Managers, to ensure optimized operations and gain specialized customer-specific knowledge.
- Participate in Dangerous Goods support with certified knowledge as per IATA/ICAO regulations within the Operational Care Center.
- Fluent Italian and intermediate English language skills.
- Dangerous Goods Certification is advantageous.
- Previous experience (1-2 years) in the logistics sector for similar roles.
