Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled TRICARE Beneficiary Services Representative to join our team at Leidos. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional service to beneficiaries, ensuring they receive the support and resources they need to navigate the TRICARE program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify benefits eligibility and process enrollments, disenrollments, and transfers using the Defense Online Enrollment System and other relevant systems.
  • Register beneficiaries in the MHS Genesis system and perform Primary Care Manager changes in accordance with Military Treatment Facility guidelines.
  • Provide education on resources and benefits, enrollment/disenrollment information, and customer service to beneficiaries via phone and in person.
  • Collect, process, retrieve, and disseminate transfer information for active-duty and active-duty family member portability/disenrollment processes.
  • Conduct briefings for In Processing, Out Processing, Maternity, pre-separation/retirement, and other relevant events.
  • Provide basic claims assistance, including information on claim status.
  • Collect and record Health Information into applicable systems.
  • Assess the appropriate assistance level needed and refer or escalate as necessary to address the issue at hand.
  • Collect and report information on daily activities performed.
  • Complete tasks on a timely basis and comply with HIPAA regulations, Leidos, and other training and refresher courses.
  • Maintain confidentiality and proper handling of Protected Health Information.
  • Adhere to a business casual dress code.
  • Provide shadowing support to new BSRs as needed.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field OR an associate's degree in a related field PLUS 4 years of specialized experience OR a major certification in a related field PLUS 4 years of specialized experience OR a high school diploma or GED PLUS 8 years of specialized experience.
  • Must be SOFA/Command Sponsored as a dependent of an Active-Duty Service Member, DoD employee, or US Contractor supporting the DoD.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must have a Soggiornio and Missione Visa.
  • Be eligible for and maintain ADP IT III / Non-Sensitive Position, Tier 1.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Fluency in English.
  • Proficient in written and oral communications.
  • Effective presentation skills.
  • Computer literate with Internet research experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 2010 or later applications—Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to reply tactfully with people on the phone and in person.
  • Ability to work independently and under general supervision.
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Knowledge of Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System and MHS Genesis.
