Job Title: EMEA Business Development Leader for Growth Accounts

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our business development efforts in the EMEA region, focusing on growth accounts with high potential for AWS adoption.

About the Role

As a Business Development Leader, you will work closely with partner executives, AWS sales and partner leaders, and other key stakeholders to drive greenfield business growth in the EMEA region. Your key objectives will include:

  • Collaborating with the WW team to land the growth account strategy in EMEA, significantly growing AWS's presence within a portfolio of enterprise accounts.
  • Working cross-functionally with AWS Sales, AWS Partner Management, and other AWS stakeholders in EMEA to align on go-to-market strategies, partner engagement, and deliver customer outcomes.
  • Establishing accountability and securing sponsorship of partner executives in EMEA to drive increased sales velocity in select enterprise accounts.
  • Aligning with worldwide teams and its goals, fostering a culture of innovation, execution, and continuous improvement.
  • Leveraging data-driven insights to prioritize high-impact opportunities and optimize resource allocation for the EMEA region.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 15+ years of global experience in partner management and sales leadership, in the technology/cloud industry.
  • Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and stakeholder management skills at the executive level.
  • Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders, C-level executives, and cross-functional teams or equivalent.
  • Proven track record of building partner business in the EMEA region.
  • Experience of thriving in rapidly evolving, ambiguous environments while driving cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proven ability to operate through influence.
Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  • 10+ years of experience managing and developing high-performing businesses in the EMEA market.
  • Enterprise selling experience either directly or through partners, ideally in green-field/net-new customer acquisition in EMEA.
  • Deep understanding of the AWS partner ecosystem and go-to-market strategies in the EMEA region.
