As an Assistant Dining Room Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Dining Room Manager in ensuring efficient food and beverage operations in the assigned outlets. This includes maintaining productivity, quality, and guest service standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interact with guests to verify that the service is following company standards, ensuring customer satisfaction daily.
  • Train, motivate, mentor, and provide regular constructive feedback to the team to help them achieve service and sales goals.
  • Review all revenue figures, aiming to meet sales targets and finding solutions to increase sales.
  • Handle the dining room reservation system, oversee the service, and take charge of opening and closing for the designated area.
  • Help guests with dietary needs, ensuring their diets are respected by checking the menu with the Chef.
  • Ensure that extra orders are accurately recorded for accounting purposes at the end of each shift.
Requirements
  • Upper secondary school diploma (preferably a hotel school diploma or equivalent) or higher.
  • At least 2 years of experience on cruise ships in a similar management position or in a high-volume restaurant (500+ seats) in 4/5-star hotels.
  • Guest-focused, service-oriented, with a positive personality, professional appearance, and impeccable hygiene standards.
  • Excellent knowledge of all Public Health Policies, team builder with exceptional work ethic, motivational skills, and coaching abilities.
  • Good command of the English language at least at B2 level and of German/Italian languages at least at B1 level.
  • Experience in leading multicultural teams; flexible, stress-resistant, and a committed team player.
  • Available to live traveling aboard a cruise ship for the contract period of 5 months, working 7 days a week on shifts.
