Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team at Sysmex Europe GmbH. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support and services to our customers in the South Italian region.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Installation and Maintenance: Carry out installations and guarantees, execute corrective technical actions, and perform repair actions and maintenance visits to ensure the optimal functioning of our products and solutions.
  2. Quality Assurance: Report data regarding the quality situation of the installations from the field of work to the head office, maintain the quality of installations, and detect errors.
  3. Customer Support: Provide basic technical training after installation, keep physicians informed about the proper functioning of the laboratory facilities, and offer support to sales and marketing teams in congresses, exhibitions, and workshops.
  4. Sales Optimization: Optimize net sales within its territorial scope in cooperation with sales representatives.
  5. Reporting and Administration: Complete and record the installation and maintenance reports, and manage the packaging waste generated in the field work in an appropriate way.
Requirements:
  1. Education: University degree or equivalent in engineering or biosciences.
  2. Technical Knowledge: Advanced certificate in electronics and/or equivalent industry experience, technical knowledge of electronic equipment (preferably IVD), and knowledge as a user of PC tools and software applications.
  3. Languages: Fluent in Italian and English.
  4. Professional Experience: 3-5 years of experience managing technical teams in the IVD industry including direct customer contact.
