Head Housekeeper

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Housekeeper to join our team at Accor. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for the overall management of the housekeeping department and team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the housekeeping team to deliver exceptionally clean rooms and public spaces, within budget, and with a happy and engaged team.
• Develop and implement effective housekeeping procedures and standards to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Manage departmental costs and ensure that all expenses are kept in line with budget guidelines.
• Work closely with other teams, including front office, maintenance, and F&B, to create a memorable experience for our guests.
• Ensure that all hotel standard operating procedures are trained and adhered to.
• Pro-actively identify opportunities to improve and enhance processes and procedures.
• Be fully aware, and competent in, all health and safety procedures and policies.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping experience at a similar level, with experience of a hotel opening being a plus.
• Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead by example and create an environment where your team can be their best self.
• Experience of Micros Fidelio Opera or a similar front desk operating system.
• An eagle-eye for detail, with the ability to spot a slip in standards from a mile away.
• Passion for hospitality, with a desire to create a memorable experience for our guests.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a positive attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond.
