About the Role:

Incyte Corporation, a biopharmaceutical company dedicated to advancing scientific innovation and improving patient health, is seeking a seasoned professional to lead its Oncology and Hematology Business Unit in Italy. As a key member of the Italian Leadership Team, this Director will be responsible for driving the company's strategy and business plan for oncology and hematology products in the market, ensuring the delivery of commercial goals and annual financial targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute market strategy and Go-to-Market plans for Incyte's oncology and hematology brands in Italy, aligned with the company's regional strategy.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to define and execute commercialization and reimbursement strategies.
  • Drive commercial activities to meet annual revenue targets and ensure plans are executed on budget and on time.
  • Partner with Value Access and Pricing colleagues to negotiate reimbursement with local authorities and liaise with local health authorities and payers as required.
  • Enable early sales opportunities from approval of marketing authorization for future product launches.
  • Develop and execute customer strategies, segmentation, and targeting to optimize field deployment in partnership with sales and medical teams.
  • Collaborate with other Oncology and Hematology Business Unit leaders across Europe to share learning and best practices.
  • Contribute to a strong culture of business integrity and ethics, and act within compliance and legal requirements.

Requirements:

  • Life Sciences or similar relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification.
  • More than 10 years of experience in sales and marketing, promoting specialist pharmaceutical products – preferably in oncology/hematology and in a national role.
  • Demonstrated track record of specialist sales, marketing management, and first-line sales management.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Strong team player.
  • Very strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong knowledge of industry compliance rules and requirements.
  • Self-motivated entrepreneurial mindset.
