Solution Sales Executive Job Description

The Solution Sales Executive is a key player in driving business growth by identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities in the Italian market. This role focuses on selling Workiva's Environmental, Sustainability & Governance (ESG) solutions to Executive-level buyers and influencers.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with peer sales teams, inside sales, and partnerships to generate qualified sales pipeline
  • Utilize information gathered during the needs analysis phase to deliver compelling demonstrations of the Workiva platform
  • Address customer objections and remove obstacles to find solutions to various client challenges
  • Lead the sales process to a close by showcasing Workiva's value proposition
  • Regularly update customer relationship management tools to report customer contacts
  • Provide consistent and accurate forward-looking information through pipeline analysis to forecast sales
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to secure the sale
  • Rally internal support to pursue an account and optimize internal resources
  • Prioritize selling activities and ensure timely follow-through
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Workiva products through ongoing training and a growth mindset

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in a related role, enterprise technology, or complex solution sales
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of knowledge and related career experience
  • Fluency in both Italian and English
