In this position, you will extract and integrate various data sources (retail, consumer, market, demographic, etc.) to deliver impactful, actionable insights. Additionally, you will facilitate and promote the implementation and acceptance of one or more Demand Spaces within the designated area (typically a country or Business Unit).

Your Contributions

You will:

Oversee the governance and enhancement of the Demand Spaces data infrastructure and dashboards. Collaborate closely with business teams to establish demand spaces in emerging markets and provide ongoing support for existing ones. Utilize portfolio and growth insights derived from the Demand Spaces framework to identify growth opportunities for Mondelēz. Partner with shoppers to develop compelling customer narratives. Offer PMO support for Demand Spaces, including stakeholder interviews, local/global project interactions, team workshops, and topic-specific discussions, while leading workstreams arising from the Demand Space framework (Customer stories, Equity/Comms, H&W, etc.). Provide analytical support at the local market level.

This role is part of the Italian Insights & Analytics team , which is dedicated to driving growth through Brand Strategy and Innovation for the Snacking category . The Insights & Analytics function acts as proactive, strategic growth advisors to foster growth and business outcomes. To achieve this, we must focus on our Impact by being increasingly Clear (understanding the 'why' behind our work), Courageous (to voice opinions, challenge norms, and explore new avenues), and Connected (to our insights community both internally and externally to leverage collective intelligence) to deliver the most comprehensive insights efficiently.

Your Contributions

You will identify category/brand/innovation trends and insights to drive long-term business success and inform strategies/activations to enhance operational efficiency. You will collaborate closely with other business functions to inspire insight-driven actions and are adept at transforming complex data into advanced data models/dashboards that reveal human motivations and behaviors. Key areas of focus will likely include:

Leading insights initiatives for the Savory Platform (TUC, Fonzies, Chipster), the Sweet Platform (Oreo, Oro, Mikado), and the Chocolate Platform (Milka). Generating category/brand/innovation insights and engagement strategies from diverse data sources that emphasize consumer behavior change. Managing research projects from inception to completion, ensuring the generation of essential data for insights. This includes coordinating research briefs, overseeing data collection and extraction, analyzing and interpreting results, and managing agencies (if outsourced). Formulating recommendations (strategies, ideas, activations) grounded in insights that enable the category/brand/innovation to effectively meet audience needs. Continuously scanning the market and competitors for enhancements to processes/ways of working/modernization by adopting an outside-in perspective. Confidently presenting a business case for change to influence internal stakeholders. Preparing and presenting insights to key stakeholders within the organization, including creating data visualizations and presentations to communicate points clearly. Collaborating with the Central/Global team on cross-country projects. Managing ongoing data from specific tools (Nielsen/Discover and Consumer Panel data) and analyzing data to extract insights.

Experience working directly with Marketing teams and designing, executing, and analyzing primary and secondary data sources. Contributing to projects and plans that shape the insights agenda and capability development initiatives. Demonstrating quantifiable impact of insight-driven ideas/strategies on category/brand/innovation performance.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience, and Language Requirements

Experience in FMGC/CPG, preferably within the Food & Beverage sector. Ideally, experience working in or exposure to at least 1-2 markets/categories or brands. Proficient in synthesizing data points into a coherent narrative to communicate a vision and gain stakeholder support. Familiarity with major ad-hoc techniques: Product Testing, Brand positioning, Communications development, Packaging research, NPD, online communities, quantitative and qualitative tools. Strong hands-on experience with digital tools (including Google software such as Analytics), data visualization tools, and creating dashboards using Microsoft Excel, Tableau, PowerBI, PyDash to showcase data and present findings. Extensive experience analyzing traditional CPG data sources is a plus (including but not limited to Nielsen data, Consumer Panel Data, Media Spends data, Promo Data, and data from other external portals such as Euromonitor, Global Data, Mintel). Prior experience working on equity and/or innovation preferred. Direct experience working across multiple cultures preferred.
