Bureau Veritas Group is a leading provider of inspection, verification, testing, and certification services. We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Device CE Marking Technical Leader to join our team in Italy.

About the Role

As a Medical Device CE Marking Technical Leader, you will be responsible for evaluating technical documentation and conducting audits in the Medical Devices Non-Active sector, with a focus on devices based on substances. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Organizing and managing audits on Italian territory in accordance with Regulation 745/2017;
  • Examining technical documentation for assigned medical devices, assessing conformity to Regulation (EU) 2017/745;
  • Participating in committees to deliberate and issue conformity certificates;
  • Collaborating with the Scheme Manager to provide technical support for effective customer management and certification processes;
  • Participating in auditor training and conducting internal audits;
  • Working closely with the Medical Devices team to optimize and develop the sector;
  • Actively contributing to the development of the Medical Devices sector in terms of maintaining and extending Bureau Veritas' designation.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a scientific field;
  • Excellent English language skills;
  • At least 4 years of experience in the Medical Device sector;
  • Knowledge of technical norms in the medical device sector;
  • A plus would be possession of the Lead Auditor qualification in accordance with Directive 93/42/CEE and Regulation 745/2017, and/or the Lead Auditor ISO13485 qualification.
