Armani Hotel Milano, a 5-star luxury hotel in the heart of Milan's fashion district, is seeking an experienced Bar Manager to lead our Food & Beverage Department.
Main Responsibilities:
Select, train, evaluate, develop, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees to ensure high-quality service and cultural standards are met.
The ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle guest complaints, concerns, or special requests.
Ensure quality of all food and beverage items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive experience for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
Collaborate with Operations Manager to design an effective beverages menu and wine list while ensuring excellent product quality at a fair price.
Create drink lists based on seasonality and mixologist trends, respecting beverage cost guidelines.
Analyze monthly menu engineering reports, taking proactive steps to maintain profitability based on results.
Attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments.
Achieve financial goals of the bar by controlling labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory and cash control.
Maintain the concept and position of the Bamboo Bar in the community and stay informed about competition and industry trends.
Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.

Qualifications and Expertise:
  • Solid knowledge of Food & Beverage
  • Strong work ethic and people-management skills
  • Great attention to details
  • Proactive to address and resolve issues

We are looking for individuals with two years of management experience in the same position. Preferred candidates have 5-star hotel deluxe experience and a college degree preferably specializing in bar/restaurant/hotel management or equivalent experience.
