About the Role

This position reports to the Service Team Leader and is part of the Robotics and Discrete Automation – Service and Digital Platform Business Line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute service work as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
  • Deliver quality customer service to satisfy customers.
  • Restore the functionality of robots, dealing with electrical, mechanical, and software problems, and fill out detailed service reports.
  • Inform the Field Service Coordinator and the Sales Engineers about possible technical improvements seen/discussed with the customer on-site.
  • Provide technical support via emails/phone from the office.
  • Use the company's IT tools to record support and service activities.
  • Comply with the company's Safety and Integrity procedures and standards.
Requirements
  • Diploma/degree in a technical field, preferably in mechanics, electric/electronics, information technology.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (by car, mainly in Italy).
  • Good knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel.
  • Good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken.
  • Strong analysis skills and the right attitude for problem-solving.
