Software Product Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Product Assurance Engineer to join our team at D-Orbit. As a key member of our Quality and Product Assurance group, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software components across various embedded and high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain quality metrics to measure software performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software processes are followed correctly and consistently.
  • Manage software configuration to ensure availability and traceability of software products.
  • Contribute to the definition and implementation of non-conformance control systems and support the documentation and follow-up of anomaly reports and non-conformance reports.
Requirements:
  • At least five years of professional experience in the space field.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to work with large data sets.
  • Experience with automated testing tools, test processes, and test-driven development.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies and release versioning processes.
  • Familiarity with industry standards on software development and validation.
Education:

Bachelor or higher engineering degree in a relevant field such as electronic engineering, computer science, or automation.

Language:

Full professional proficiency in English is mandatory, with any other language being a plus, and Italian being an asset.
