Product Assurance Engineer

D-Orbit is a pioneering company in the field of space logistics and transportation. We are seeking a highly skilled Product Assurance Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our technology developments and related products. This will involve working closely with our project teams to develop and implement product assurance and safety engineering processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and quality assurance, with experience in the space industry. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement product assurance and safety engineering processes
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure quality of technology developments and related products
  • Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Monitor and report on quality performance
  • Support the development of standards and best practices in product assurance
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience in space product assurance activities
  • Experience working with space institutional customers
  • Experience working in a quality assurance environment
  • Strong background in engineering and quality assurance
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with EN9100 standard
  • Experience working with requirements management tools
  • Knowledge of configuration management, quality auditing, or certification
Language:

Full professional proficiency in English is mandatory. Any other language is a plus, and Italian is an asset.
