Job Title: Life Actuarial Operations Specialist

Join our team at Zurich Insurance Company as a Life Actuarial Operations Specialist, where you will play a key role in developing and managing the life insurance portfolio calculation engine and creating tools for product functionality control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and implement portfolio processes, focusing on calculations at each stage, from pricing to settlements.
  • Use and develop Python tools integrated with Excel/Access/SAS to analyze, test, and verify the life insurance portfolio.
  • Contribute to product engineering and its translation to the company's IT system, as well as analyze and test IT activities.
  • Support the Life department with control and recalculation activities, applying product technical note content.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in scientific disciplines such as Statistics and Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role in the insurance sector.
  • Good knowledge of Python.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access.
  • Good knowledge of SAS.
  • Ability to work in a team and manage activities with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
