Electrical Construction Supervisor Role

At JUWI GmbH, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Supervisor to oversee the electrical construction works on our solar PV EPC projects in Italy. As part of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring technical, environmental, and safety compliance, quality, schedule, and integration control.

Key Responsibilities:
• Reporting to the Construction Manager and working closely with the Construction Team Leader to ensure project execution aligns with company procedures and standards.
• Accomplishing construction project/trade results by defining project/trade purpose and scope, calculating resources required, and establishing standards and protocols.
• Conducting inspections, supervision, and reporting on construction activities to ensure conformance with project drawings, specifications, schedules, procedures, quality requirements, and safety standards.
• Managing supplier and subcontractor construction and commissioning, implementing KPIs, controlling and monitoring trade schedule and quality performance against baseline schedules, and raising NCRs through the Construction Manager.
• Ensuring full compliance with QHSE regulations, legislation, standards, codes, and requirements in Italy.
• Ensuring contractual trade schedule and payment milestones are achieved, including preparation and compilation of documentation.
• Preparing and reviewing work procedures, QCPs, and ITPs, and supporting the Logistics team with material distribution on site and incoming goods inspections.
• Implementing and processing Lock Out Tag Out Procedures.

Requirements and Qualifications:
• Electrical Engineering background and minimum 5 years of construction supervision experience in electrical infrastructure projects, with 2 years of experience in utility-scale solar PV plants.
• Good communication skills, written and spoken, and a proven track record in successfully completing construction projects on time, safely, and compliant with technical and quality requirements and standards.
• Demonstrable experience in managing subcontractors to stringent time and quality metrics and conversance with construction management tools, MS Office, etc.
• Conversance with construction, labour, environmental, and safety requirements and legislation, and fluency in English and Italian.
