About the Role
As a Health and Safety Specialist at Amazon, you will play a critical role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our employees and customers. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement effective health and safety programs, policies, and procedures to prevent injuries and illnesses in the workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular site audits to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate risks
- Develop and implement training programs to educate employees on health and safety protocols and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address health and safety concerns
- Monitor and analyze safety metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Develop and implement corrective actions to address safety incidents and near-misses
About the Team
You will be part of the Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team, which plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of packages. Our team is dedicated to innovation and efficiency, and we are looking for a skilled Health and Safety Specialist to join our team.
Requirements
- ASPP or RSPP certification
- Advanced proficiency in Italian and English
- Experience in Lean, 5S, or Kaizen methodologies
- Experience in planning or managing environmentally conscious initiatives
