Key Responsibilities

As a System Engineer at Alpitronic, you will be responsible for consolidating stakeholder requirements into a system requirements document for our charging infrastructure products. You will carry out feasibility studies based on the system requirements and design the overall product architecture of the EV chargers, taking into account the system requirements, mission profile, and technical constraints. This includes the design of the system topology, high-level partitioning, functions' allocation, and definition of interfaces.

You will provide iterative optimization of the product architecture through modeling, simulation, and integration of performance feedback. You will also contribute to validation planning and results evaluation, regularly review and update requirements documentation to ensure coverage, accuracy, and alignment with system architecture and project objectives. Additionally, you will be the point of contact for requirements and standards for charging infrastructure projects and keep track of the latest technical developments and advances in key components and technologies.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or a comparable course of studies. You will also require experience in the field of requirements and/or architecture engineering, as well as dealing with standards and normatives. You should have experience with subsystem decomposition and system integration of complex electronic devices, an independent, structured, and solution-oriented work approach, analytical thinking skills, and a strong interest in the latest technological advances in the field of EV-charging. Fluency in English, Italian, and/or German is an advantage.
