About the JobWe are searching for an Electrical Engineer Junior, reporting directly to the Industrial Plant Engineering Head to join our team based in Rome, Italy.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation of project technical specifications in line with Project/Client requirements
- Meeting Project quality and HSE objectives
- Ensuring appropriate reporting on assigned engineering/requisitioning activities to the Lead Electrical Engineer/Team Leader
- Interfacing with other discipline engineers
- Preparation and/or checking of Single Line Diagrams, Area Classification drawings, Grounding System layouts, Panel/Cable schedules, Equipment layouts, Cable layouts, Lighting system layouts and Electrical installation details
- Performing power system studies (short circuit, load flow, motor starting, arc flash, harmonic analysis) using ETAP or equivalent software
- Performing calculations for main electrical equipment sizing, UPS sizing, Cables sizing, Lighting system, Grounding and Lightning system and Heat tracing system
- Preparing Electrical Equipment Material Requisitions and Data sheets
- Reviewing Vendor Bids and preparing Technical Bids Evaluation
- Ensuring proper communication with Vendors and technical follow-up of the orders
- Reviewing Vendor Drawings
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal effectively with the design team in the resolution of project-related issues, in an international and multi-cultural environment
- High interest regarding the current Energy transition challenges and Digital transformation process
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and flexible to work well under tight schedules in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary team environment
