If you share our determination to drive the transition to a low-carbon future, this could be the job for you. We are seeking an Electrical Engineer Junior to join our Electrical Engineering division team in Rome, Italy.
About the Job
You will work in the Electrical Section, responsible for designing electrical systems for medium, large, and complex projects.
Your role will involve developing assigned tasks under the guidance of senior engineers. Your work will be reviewed to ensure objectives are met. You will be progressively assigned tasks with higher complexity and interfaces.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Preparing project technical specifications in line with client requirements;
- Meeting project quality and HSE objectives;
- Ensuring proper reporting on assigned engineering activities;
- Interfacing with other discipline engineers;
- Preparing and checking electrical system designs;
- Performing power system studies using ETAP software;
- Calculating electrical equipment sizing and cable sizing;
- Preparing electrical equipment material requisitions and data sheets;
- Reviewing vendor bids and preparing technical bids evaluation;
- Ensuring proper communication with vendors and technical follow-up of orders;
- Reviewing vendor drawings.
You will have opportunities for business trips, attending technical meetings, and visiting vendor workshops. You may also have the opportunity to support engineering activities on our sites.

About You

Qualifications: Master degree in Electrical Engineering;
Languages: English fluent;
Main Skills:
- Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills;
- High interest in current energy transition challenges and digital transformation process;
- Availability for international mobility;
- Previous experience in detailed engineering and design of electrical systems;
- Solid knowledge of new energy sources and renewable technologies;
- Advanced knowledge of Excel/VBA/Query and database management;
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and flexible to work well under tight schedules.
