Role Overview


You will serve as a key member of the Air Force Institute Of Technology team, responsible for the acquisition and disposal, management and utilization of real estate interests. This exciting opportunity requires strong guidance on real estate principles, regulations, practices and methods.



Responsibilities



  • Management of real estate interests and planning issues of a large number of activities located within the assigned geographical area
  • Conducting market analyses, preparing Requests for Proposals (RFP) and preparing lease contracts for the procurement and administration of leases
  • Plan, consult and coordinate realty actions (i.e., actions to acquire major and minor land, space, and/or structures) to support a real property management program


Requirements


This position requires at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a Realty Specialist. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
