Director of Product Safety and Stewardship

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our product safety and stewardship efforts in Italy and Spain.
As our new Director of Product Safety and Stewardship, you will be responsible for leading consulting and business development initiatives, as well as developing client relationships and driving business growth.
You will work closely with our global team of product safety and stewardship specialists to deliver key knowledge to our clients and contribute to our company's success.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Be:- Leading a team of product safety and stewardship consultants across Spain and Italy.
- Understanding our company's strategy, vision, and distinctiveness and effectively selecting, driving, and leading sales to target clients in support of our strategic direction, including proposal development.
- Developing client business relationships and becoming their trusted advisor.
- Becoming a thought leader in identifying regulatory, economic, and societal trends and turning these into business opportunities.
You have a proven background in (eco-)toxicology, biology, chemistry, or similar.
You have demonstrable experience in product regulatory affairs (REACH knowledge is required, knowledge of other regulations for e.g., biocides, plant protection products, food contact materials, cosmetics, is appreciated).
You are comfortable leading a team and creating solutions that result in successful project outcomes as well as staff development.
You exhibit entrepreneurial thinking and behavior that deliver client and business development at a level that will support our business strategy.
You are able to successfully manage others to achieve deadlines while dealing with evolving priorities and project requirements.
