Job Description

Job Title: Sales Transformation Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Sales Transformation Leader to join our team at Microsoft. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving the execution of our digital transformation strategy in the public sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • People Management:
    • Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to deliver success through empowerment and accountability.
    • Model our company culture and values, and coach team members to do the same.
    • Care for the growth and development of team members, and invest in their capabilities and aspirations.
  • Leading and Transforming the Business:
    • Analyze and build upon our sales strategy and execution to drive success within the public sector.
    • Lead and align teams to customer, partner, and market strategies that drive sales, consumption, and digital transformation solutions.
    • Collaborate with teams and managers to develop strategic initiatives, achieve targets, and effectively build and manage pipelines that deliver growth and customer/partner value realization.
  • Accelerating Growth:
    • Apply industry and market expertise to lead teams towards identifying solutions to drive new opportunities and strategies in alignment with customer needs.
    • Lead the development and implementation of go-to-market strategies for maximizing revenue, consumption, and growth across solution areas.
    • Understand drivers of digital transformation relevant to customers and partners across business units.
  • Driving Success with and Through Others:
    • Foster a culture of inclusion, learning, mentorship, coaching, customer-centricity, accountability, collaboration, and achievement of bold goals.
    • Influence and work across segments, partners, and teams to drive growth and transformation.
    • Build and maintain a broad executive network inclusive of partners.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, marketing/advertising, managing high-performance sales and technical-sales teams, and/or leadership roles in multi-tiered large organizations.
  • Some years of direct/formal, indirect/informal, and/or project team people management experience.
