Established in Europe, Ward Personnel is a leading construction solutions provider. Our portfolio showcases complex engineering & construction projects for global corporations. Focused on delivering exceptional results, we seek a seasoned MEP Manager to lead our Data Centre project in Milan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Electrical & Mechanical Systems packages.
  • Maintain site safety alongside the Project Manager and Safety Advisor, ensuring a comprehensive safety file.
  • Foster a Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental culture within the team.
  • Oversee Site QA with the QA Manager, including setup, management, and close-out of files.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager, consulting Engineer, and Client requirements to manage the project schedule.
  • Manage costs associated with Electrical, Mechanical, and Sub-contractor teams, material deliveries, plant and equipment, variations, valuations, and day-to-day site operations.
  • Ensure policies and procedures are followed.
  • Monitor sub-contractor activities, tracking progress against schedules and manpower levels, with weekly meetings.
  • Issue direct labour hours and sub-contractor hours to the time administrator for central tracking.
  • Attend site meetings, internal project reviews, engineering reviews, planning and coordination meetings, and handover meetings.
  • Closely monitor and address all project items, including final accounts, O&M manuals, punch lists, safety files, QA files, material relocations, and project plans.
  • Provide weekly cost reports, detailing orders placed, materials expected, and labour levels.
  • Create internal and external weekly progress reports, highlighting percentage complete, risks, and areas requiring attention.
  • Schedule material deliveries according to the project schedule and track all deliveries.
  • Maintain a weekly project photographic diary.
  • Nurture strong relationships with the client team.
  • Coordinate works between M&E scope items and ensure alignment with overall site works.

Requirements:

  • A trade qualification or relevant third-level degree.
  • At least 5 years of experience in project management.
  • A proven track record of coordinating and managing large installation projects.
  • Experience dealing with Industrial Relations issues.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety.
  • Experience in design and build projects.
  • Good technical knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical systems.
  • Excellent IT skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under tight deadlines.
  • Capacity to drive large-scale projects.
  • Skills in managing others within a team environment.

Salary Range: €60,000.00 - €90,000.00 per year

Location: Milano, Lombardia (preferred)
